We have two front doors (a stormy night on the moor explains why)
separated by a small hall which is designed to leave your wet weather
gear in. This leads into the airy dining room - the Ercol dining table
seats 6 - with its picture window and armchair to watch the clouds, walkers,
ponies etc. go by.
The central sitting room has an old fashioned, comfortable,
three piece suite to complement the age and style of the house,
an electric stove, TV & DVD, and a collection of Dartmoor
paintings.
Leading from this
room are the stairs, still in their original cupboard(!) and the
modern functional kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave,
fridge and washing machine.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The master bedroom has a double Victorian style bed, put
together the wrong way, making it higher, which means one can lie in bed looking out of the window with
it's spectacular views across the high moor and Tors, down to
Plymouth and the sea.
The second bedroom has a 5 foot zip and link bed which can be
separated to form two singles.
The large family bathroom features a corner bath with shower,
and the original airing cupboard.
